One week STTP on "Emerging Trends in DSP & Communication"

Department of Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering of SSBT's College Of Engineering & Technology Bambhori, Jalgaon(MS) is organizing a one week ISTE sponsored STTP on "Emerging Trends in DSP & Communication" from 30th March 2009 to 3rd April 2009. The objective of this STTP is to impart advance technical knowledge on "emerging trends in DSP & communication" and at the same time laying a strong foundation of the basic principles and concept to the faculty and technocrats willing to work in this field. Expert , Eminent & highly qualified speakers from renowned academic institutions and industry will be delivering lectures during the STTP.

General Information:
Shram Sadhana Bombay Trust is the aiding force behind the College of Engineering & Technology, Bambhori, Jalgaon.COET was established in 1983 with the aim of imparting quality engineering education & is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, permanently affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The institute offers eight undergraduate and two post graduate courses in engineering and MBA. The seven engineering courses are accredited by NBA for five years. College is listed under 2(f) of UGC New Delhi.

The 25 acres of lush green campus is located on the bank meandering river Girna. The college is just about 7 km from the Jalgaon railway station and bus stand.Jalgaon is well connected by train with all major cities of the country and by bus with rest of the Maharashtra state.
The Department of E&TC is equipped with latest state of art technology in education. It has a team of experienced, dynamic and qualified staff involved in research work publications National / International level conferences/ Seminar/ workshops & research journals. It has applied to start M.E.( Digital Electronics) from academic Year 2009-2010.

Objective of the course:
This one week ISTE sponsored STTP is specially designed for the faculty of Engineering colleges as well as technocrats from industry to get exposure of present "Emerging trends in Digital Signal Processing and Communication".

Faculty:
Along with our own faculty, eminent speakers from renowned academic institutions as well as from industry have given their consent to deliver expert lectures.

Course Content:
1. Review of DFT,FFT
2. Filter Design
3. Multirate Signal Processing
4. Application's of DSP in various fields
5. Digital Image Processing
6. Introduction to multiple access technique FDMA, TDMA,.CDMA/SSMA
7. IP protocol & their resolution techniques voice over IP,ATM

Person interested should apply on the attached registration form or in the same format along with the registration fee by Cash / Demand draft drawn in a favour of Principal, SSBT's College of Engineering and Technology, Bambhori, Jalgaon. payable at Jalgaon. Applicant from AICTE recognized colleges are required to submit their application through proper channel.

Eligibility:

1. The course is meant for Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science & Engg. Information Technology, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines. A maximum of 30 participants will be allowed on first come first serve basis.
2. Teachers from AICTE recognized institution as well as participants from industry are eligible.
3. A limited numbers of participants from polytechnics will be allowed.

Incomplete application & application without registration fees will be rejected.

Last date of receiving registration form 26/3/2009.

Boarding & Lodging:
The participants from AICTE recognized institutes would be provided free boarding and lodging in the college hostel. For others, arrangements will be made on payment basis either in the college hostel or nearby hotel as per the convenience of participants.
