Jalgaon is one of the industrial town ship and district head quarter of Maharashtra state. It is situated on the main rail route, 25 km from Bhusawal towards Manmad. Most of the trains running via Bhusawal between New Delhi – Mumbai, New Delhi-Banglore, New Delhi-Pune, Howrah-Bombay, Howrah–Ahmedabad, Gorakhpur-Mumbai, Lucknow – Mumbai, have a stoppage at Jalgaon junction railway station.
