Checklist for Engineering Degree Course Admission
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics AND Secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. Eligible candidates from states other than Maharashtra
can apply under " payment seats" category. NRI candidates
can also apply under this category.
Documents needed: (Original Copy)
(I) Medical certificate of Physical fitness
(II) Certificate of Indian Nationality
(III) Certificate of passing the qualifying examinations and
other examinations, if any for which additional credit is
given, with the statement of marks.
(IV) Certificate of Date of Birth, if it is not mentioned
in the school or institute Leaving certificate
(V) Certificate in the prescribed form from the competent
authorities of belonging to the Backward Class, if the candidate
claims to belong the Backward Class.
(VI) Appropriate certificate as specified by government in
support of qualifications claiming weightage, concession and/
or for qualification on the basis of which relative merit
will be reserved.
(VII) Domicile certificate of the father/ mother where and
as applicable.
(VIII) Requisite certificate from the competent Authorities
in the case of candidates claiming to be the children of Armed
forces personal transferred to Maharashtra state together
with transfer order of father.
(IX) Transfer order in the case of children of Central government.
(X) Certificate in the case of candidate claiming to be son/
daughter of freedom fighter, or his wife or child or adopted
child or step child, or grand child (child of predeceased
son of freedom fighter).
(XI) Prescribed certificate of being physically handicapped
if any
(XII) Prescribed certificate of participation in Inter-institutional
sports, Games, debates, elections, Drama competitions.
