The Equal Opportunity Centre (EOC) at SSBT’s College of Engineering and Technology, Bambhori, Jalgaon, has been established to promote inclusiveness, diversity, and equality among all students and staff members of the institution. It aims to create a conducive environment where individuals from all backgrounds, irrespective of gender, caste, religion, or physical abilities, can thrive academically and professionally.
Objective of the Equal Opportunity Centre
- To ensure equal access to education and employment for all students, particularly those from underrepresented sections such as SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), minorities, and persons with disabilities.
- To sensitize the campus community towards the problems faced by marginalized groups.
- To conduct awareness programs and skill development sessions to empower students and build confidence.
- To resolve grievances and facilitate a just, fair, and inclusive institutional environment.
